About Hive Intelligence
Hive Intelligence is managed crypto data infrastructure for AI agents. The hosted MCP server, REST API, and CLI connect Claude, Cursor, OpenAI agents, Gemini, Windsurf, and supported MCP clients to live crypto prices, wallet positions, DeFi activity, and token risk through one authenticated execution surface.
Why we built this
Crypto data for agents is fragmented across price APIs, wallet APIs, DeFi datasets, DEX feeds, security providers, and chain infrastructure. Hive provides a managed layer that handles authentication, provider routing, schema discovery, runtime status, and response metadata for agent workflows.
Crypto data for AI agents is at that transition point now. If you are building a research agent, a trading bot, a wallet analyzer, or a security scanner, you need data from multiple providers - prices, DeFi yields, wallet balances, token security, DEX activity, prediction markets. Hive gives your agent all of that through one connection.
What Hive is today
- 375 callable tools across 10 categories, normalized behind one API. See Data Sources for the full list of upstream providers.
- MCP endpoints for Claude, Cursor, OpenAI Responses API, Gemini, Windsurf, and LangChain.
- REST API for any backend or scripted workflow.
- CLI for terminal access and automation.
- Dashboard to manage keys, track usage, and control access.
Team
Hive Intelligence is built by a small team of engineers and ex-traders who have been working on crypto data infrastructure since 2021. The same team operates Sharpe Terminal, a derivatives-focused analytics platform for professional crypto traders.
- Rishabh Narang - CEO. Ex-derivatives trader. Founded Sharpe Labs in 2021 and previously built cross-exchange derivatives and analytics infrastructure at Sharpe Terminal. Also on X.
Hive is supported by the same investors and advisors behind Sharpe Labs, including Google Cloud, NVIDIA, AWS, Anthropic, Animoca Brands, Morningstar Ventures, GBV Capital, and Contango Digital.
Not to be confused with
Hive Intelligence (hiveintelligence.xyz) is distinct from Hive.io (the Hive blockchain and its native token HIVE), Hive.com (the team-productivity and project-management platform), and HIVE Digital (the Canadian-listed bitcoin and Ethereum mining company trading under ticker HIVE). We are a crypto-data infrastructure company serving AI agents, none of the above.
Who builds with Hive
- Research agents that monitor markets, flag outliers, and summarize what happened.
- Trading tools that compare yields, check protocol health, and surface opportunities.
- Wallet analyzers that build portfolio views across chains, tokens, and DeFi positions.
- Security scanners that inspect token risk signals, simulate transaction effects, and detect phishing.
- Prediction market trackers that aggregate event data and trade flow.

Our vision
Crypto AI agents should have one managed integration across the providers and tool categories Hive supports, kept current from live sources. We are building unified infrastructure so teams can focus on what their agent does, not on wiring up data sources.
Our mission
Give crypto AI agents one connection to the market, wallet, DeFi, token-risk, NFT, network, and prediction-market data surfaces they need most. Standardized access, source-attributed responses, and runtime discovery help the catalog grow without forcing teams to rewrite every integration.
Our focus
- MCP-native access - first-class support for Claude, Cursor, OpenAI Responses API, and header-capable MCP clients.
- Live catalog discovery - agents find and use tools at runtime without hardcoded configs.
- Provider-quality data - we maintain integrations so teams get source-attributed data from each supported provider.
